ABOUT TABLONES COFFEE

The idea behind Tablones Coffee Company is to share my culture, passion, and love for coffee.

Our family’s coffee journey began with my great-great-grandfather, Leonardo Fagioli, who left Sondrio, Italy for El Salvador in the late 1800s. There, he began cultivating coffee on small farms, a tradition that has been passed down through the generations. Today, my grandmother, Yolanda Fagioli de Pineda, continues this cherished legacy.

Tablones Coffee Company specializes in sourcing specialty small-batch coffee from El Salvador, ensuring a unique and exceptional experience in every cup.

THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME AND THE SYMBOLS

Tablones: Los Tablones is a nickname for a region of farms in the Apaneca-Llametepec mountain range of El Salvador where my family’s farms are located. A Tablón is a specific area of a farm and a way of direction.

The Number 33: This is a very special number to our family.

The Number 5: Coffee growing has been in our family for five generations.

The Mountains: El Salvador is a beautiful country that is rich in natural beauty, countless volcanoes, a great culture, and beautiful mountains. My family's coffee farms are on these mountains.
